A gradual transition is recommended by reducing the use of swaddling over a period of several weeks. Start with having one arm free for a week and then move on to having both arms free. The BABYDEEPSLEEP® weighted swaddles can be washed in a Machine at 30° C with low spin. It's also recommended to air dry the swaddle. Moreover, wash them separately or with similar colors and also avoid using fabric softeners.

In general, a lightweight onesie or bodysuit is a good choice, and additional layers can be added as needed. It's important to avoid overdressing the baby, as overheating can be a safety risk.

Yes, you can continue to use a BABYDEEPSLEEP® weighted sleep sack/bag even when your baby starts to roll over. However, make sure that the sleeping bag fits properly and is not too tight.

The appropriate tog (thermal resistance) of a weighted sleep sack/bag for your baby depends on the temperature of your baby's room. 

We use 0.5 tog on all of our weighted sleeping products and it is suitable for temperatures between 20-24°C. You should adjust your baby's clothing accordingly to the temperature of the room where your baby sleeps in.

Most babies are ready to transition out of a BABYDEEPSLEEP® weighted sleep sack/bag between 18-24 months, or when they are able to climb out of their crib. However, every baby is different, so watch for signs that your baby is ready to transition.

What a baby wears under a BABYDEEPSLEEP® weighted sleep suit depends on the temperature of the room. In cooler temperatures, a baby may wear a onesie or a bodysuit underneath the BABYDEEPSLEEP® weighted sleep suit, while in warmer temperatures, a baby may wear just a diaper underneath. 

There is no specific age when a baby should stop wearing a BABYDEEPSLEEP® weighted sleep suit, as it depends on the baby's comfort level and weight.

However, most babies stop wearing weighted sleep suits once their weight exceeds 15kg (around 4 years of age).

BABYDEEPSLEEP® weighted sleep suits should be changed whenever they become soiled or damp. It is also good to have a spare sleep suite and change them when needed to keep the baby clean and comfortable.

Especially restless babies are warm babies. OKEO-TEX® certified bamboo/cotton fabric is used in all of our products. Due to the fabric´s amazing qualities, it ensures maximum breathability, temperature regulation, and sweat absorption. TOG 0.5. An extra feature is the mesh insert at the top back for extra airflow.

Our products come with holes for a harness used in some baby carriages. There is 1 hole in each side of the product. The products are not designed to be used with other harnesses for safety reasons.

With the weight placed covering the chest and stomach, you should think, that the products work best on a baby primarily sleeping on his/her back. This is not the case. All of the feedback on the effect is from babies who have very different favorite sleeping positions. Babies sleep in many different positions during the night. The weight will move with your baby. He/she can sleep on the side, on the stomach and stand up. If your baby prefers to lye on the side or stomach this is okay. Sleeping on the side the weight will follow the movements of your baby. Sleeping on the stomach your baby will get the stimulation from the small granules and therefore still get the calming deep pressure.
